FROM OUR PROGRAM CHAIR - Kathy Cox

Our speaker this month is our very own Julio Hector. He will speak on how he successfully grows Paphiopedilums under our Florida conditions. They are one of my favorites, but I sure struggle with their care, so I know I will learn something.
Julio has been a member of TBOS since 2001. He currently holds the position of TBOS Treasurer. He is an accredited American Orchid Society Judge.
His orchids are grown outdoors, under cover, in Tampa. As of this date, forty of his Florida grown paphiopedilums have been awarded by the American Orchid Society.
His presentation will include an overview of the Genus Paphiopedilum and insight into how he grows them.
FROM OUR AUCTION CHAIR - Kathy Cox
It's always a great feeling when the auctioneer calls your number as the winning bidder. Experience that feeling June 20, at our annual orchid auction.

There will be an abundance of outstanding plants to bid on. Plan to bid early and often, Credit cards are accepted. The auction will be held at our regular meeting place on SAURDAY, with plant preview starting at 9:30 a.m. The auction gets underway at10:00 am.
We need boxes to put the sold plants in. Please bring any and all you have to the meeting this week, THURSDAY, June 18.

Many of our Auction plants and supplies have been generously donated by our trusted Ad Partners. Please be sure and thank them for their support of our society.
