 DECEMBER MEETING Please Be Generous

We are continuing our tradition of collecting non-perishable food items,

and new toys, for the holidays, for METROPOLITAN MINISTRIES.

Please bring your donation to our DECEMBER meeting.

See Heather Ferrill to assist with this community drive.


It's Party Time!

🎄 Dear TBOS members,

It's almost time for our Christmas party on December 18.

🪅🌟

Ham and Turkey will be provided.

Please contact Esther by DEC.17 and let her know what you would like to bring.


There will be no chafing dishes this year, so please make sure the dishes you bring are hot .

We need the following dishes:

🎁

  • Mashed potatoes

  • Sweet potatoes

  • Stuffing

  • Vegetables

  • Turkey Gravy

  • cranberry relish

  • Mac & Cheese

  • Salads

  • Corn Casserole

  • Beverages

If you are planning to bring a dessert you don’t need to let Esther know. There always seems to be plenty.

A vote to approve or amend will be taken at the Thursday, January 15, 2026, meeting.

NOTICE: If your dues for 2025-2026 have not been paid, this will be your last newsletter. The website contact list will be purged of all delinquent members by the end of November. If you are unsure of your membership status, please see Membership Chair, Heather Ferrill.

Saturday, December 20th - Orchid Judging will begin at 9:30 AM.

Doors open 30 minutes prior to judging. (Date adjusted due to holiday)

We will meet in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Sanctuary Building this month.

Orchids are reviewed for flower quality, botanical and culture awards.

Judges are on-site until all plants have been judged.

AOS ONLINE Event: Registration is Now Open

Meet guest speakers with great topics. Cozy up with some hot tea, and a warm blanket. Put this on the big screen. Invite your friends to register and get immersed in orchids for the afternoon. More details on Registration Page - https://www.aos.org/culture-day

AOS Members have access to ALL webinars by signing in on the AOS website. Follow the prompts on the AOS Webinars page. Guests can view ALL the Greenhouse Chats on the scheduled date or Greenhouse Chat recorded webinars.

Greenhouse chats are summarized by topic. Search for similar issues and zero in on the appropriate time to get expert growing help.
